Sister Esther of the Living Water
A member of the Community of the Beatitudes since 1999, I began to pray in front of a reproduction of the icon known as the Holy Trinity (The Hospitality of Abraham), written by Andrei Rublev, even before I entered the community. All our chapels are adorned with icons, and the idea of painting them has crossed my mind several times.
In 2014, I asked for and received a box of paint, and started, for the pleasure of offering one as a feast present (in community), baptism (godson and niece). I also made my first commission, using the traditional tempera technique, which I have not left since.

Seeing my abilities, my superiors asked me to train. I first followed an intensive course at the Atelier Saint Séraphim, given by my community sister Marie-Véronique. I then joined the diploma course at the Bethlehem Icon School, in connection with the Prince's School of Traditional Arts in London, which I completed in December 2017.

I live, pray and work in the holy site of Emmaus-Nicopolis, Israel. I make some of the colors I use from colored soil and rocks collected here in the Holy Land. Biblical, theological research, work and prayer, together with the materials patiently crafted by hand, are the elements that will shape your icon.

Lorsqu'une icône est en vente, le délai dépendra de votre paiement et du transport.
Lorsque vous commandez une icône, vous pouvez vous attendre à un délai de plusieurs semaines à plusieurs mois. Si vous avez une date butoir, merci de me contacter sans tarder. Toutefois, écrire une icône est un travail à long terme. Les icônes sont faites pour durer toute votre vie et celle des générations suivantes, le délai ne devrait donc pas être un problème.

Règlement
Les icônes sont faites à la main et requièrent beaucoup de savoir-faire et de temps. Chaque pièce est unique ! C'est un investissement pour toute votre vie. Les prix démarrent à partir 100 Euros pour une icône très simple et très petite (par exemple une Sainte Face de Jésus), sans or. Si vous commandez une icône, le prix fait partie de la discussion.

Le règlement se fait en général par transfert bancaire. Il peut également être fait par PayPal ou envoi d'espèces via la Poste de votre pays ou une compagnie comme Western Union, par exemple. Les modalités vous seront données sur demande.
